*ISF's Plans for 2006*
1 Hold an international cultural symposium.
2 Support studies of Japanese culture in Russia, China, the United States, France, Italy, etc.
4 Send lecturers to foreign universities/colleges to open intensive chairs of Japanese culture.
5 Donate academic books. Donate 121 volumes of "Shinto Taikei" to libraries in foreign universities/colleges and research institutes.
6 Provide research funds and scholarships. Provide scholarships to researchers and university (college) students who study Japanese culture.
7 Shinto Global Network Research fund. The support to a Japanese culture research project is provided.
8 Sponsor the Essay Contest regarding Japanese culture.
9 Publish and distribute proceedings of previously held symposiums and seminars.
10 Issue organizational newsletters.
11 Participate in activities as an UN NGO by cooperating with the Public Information Department, Development Plan, Environment Plan, Meeting for Native Inhabitants, etc.
12 Strengthen the cooperative relationship with Shrine Shinto, Kyoha Shinto and other Shinto-related religious organizations.
13 Have substantial webpage on the internet.
14 Develop other activities according to the purpose of the ISF.
