On November 11, 2000 (Sat.), a round table
discussion was held at the Conference Room
of the Tokyo International Forum.
Approximately sixty Shinto researchers and
those who practice Shinto gathered for this
meeting from all over the world, and they
ardently discussed the Shinto Studies suitable
for the 21st century from various angles
and made concrete proposals.

of Religion, Columbia University) and Rev.
Yoshinobu Miyake (a ISF Trustee/ the Chief
Minister of Konko Church of Kasugaoka) wittily
presided over the meeting as discussion moderators.
