As a usual event linked to the Annual General Meeting of the International Shinto Foundation, the Fifth Shinto Seminar entitled "Shinto's Encounters with Other Religions ― Forms of Religious Acculturation in Japan" was organized on August 19, 2001 in Tokyo.
