On August 10th, the Education Department
of the Japan Society, invited ISF to participate in their
Japanese Cultural Program. Rev. Mitsutake Inui, Chief Officer
of ISF/NY gave a lecture on the meaning of “Shinto” to 30
New York City high school teachers. They had many questions,
especially Shinto’s after death philosophy. |

Continuing with the ISF Japan Society
cooperative program, on August 23rd, about 20 high school
students visited ISF/NY for a one-hour lecture on Shinto.
